How can my recipient redeem his gift audiobook?

Your recipient can easily redeem their gift audiobook. If you send it through email, all they have to do is open the email they received. Then, click the “Redeem your Gift” button, followed by the “Redeem on Audible” button.

If they received your gift audiobook on a printed card, they need to sign-in in to their Audible account and go to https://www.audible.com/ep/redeemgift, enter the claim code, and click “Redeem.”

After redeeming the gift audiobook, they will be redirected to a “Thank You” page, which is an indication that the title is now ready in their library.

What will happen if the gift audiobook is not accessible in my recipient’s country or it’s already in his library?

Some Audiobooks have geographical rights and cannot be redeemed to other countries. If this happens, your receiver should reach out to Audible’s customer service here

On the other hand, if your recipient already owns the gift audiobook you’ve sent, they can exchange the title for a coupon or a credit that can be used to pick a new audiobook.

While the coupon won’t expire, take note that the credit in replacement for the gift audiobook will expire after a year.

How do I know if my recipient already received my gift audiobook?

To check the claim status of your gift, go to your Account Details and proceed to the “Gift History” section.

Audible will also send up to three reminder emails to your recipient if they do not claim the gift immediately.
